Hey there!

I'm Angela and I'm a Hampshire-based photographer.

Light Years Photography is entirely my baby and allows me to flex my creative muscles in many ways, but I love to focus (no pun intended) on people and portraiture most of all.

I was bitten by the photography bug around the turn of the Millennium and since then have never looked back, always with my camera in hand and a million ideas in my head. I am a graduate of The Photography Institute's diploma of professional photography and exclusively use Sony alpha cameras and lenses in all of my work.

I've covered corporate events, shot weddings, pets, birthdays, Science Fiction conventions and cosplay events, architecture - you name it, I've shot it!

When you hire me, you are hiring someone with an almost unlimited imagination, a near-obsessive drive to achieve the very best with what's available to me and I always strive to provide my clients with 100% satisfaction on their projects.

I'm a passionate advocate for better mental health care for all and try to combine this with my creativity wherever possible. If you visit the W.E. Are Enough section of this site you will find various resources all about this topic, from my podcast with mental healthcare professionals, to videos on tips, various coping mechanisms and ways to help yourself recover.

Away from photography, I am a massive Science Fiction fan (#TeamStarWars!) and am an #Earper (google it!). I'm also a writer and a published poet.

Drop me a line via my contact page and I'd be more than happy to discuss your photographic needs or mental health projects.
